Stone Group, the leading ICT services provider, has today announced that it has been awarded a position across Lots 1 and 2 of the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd (NEUPC) Higher Education purchasing consortia networking framework (“HENSS”).
The lots awarded to Stone cover:
o Lot 1 – equipment only;
o Lot 2 – networking projects up to £1 million.
Stone will work closely with Cisco Meraki as a Preferred Partner providing innovative products and solutions, including everything from firewalls and switches to comprehensive modern networking solutions, from consultation and design through to deployment, commissioning and ongoing care and support.
The framework is available to any member institution of UK Higher Education Purchasing Consortia, including:
LUPC – London Universities Purchasing Consortium
NEUPC – North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium
NWUPC – North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium
SUPC – Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium
APUC – Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (Scotland)
HEPCW – Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales

The HENNS framework is now live and will run for two years with the option to extend for two further periods of one year each.
